ALKALINE / ACID Balance: All foods digested leave a residue, (1) Acid, (2) Neutral or (3) Alkaline - with the Body requiring an excess of (3) Alkaline to maintain good health. An (1) Acid residue creates Acidosis, which is a depletion of Alkali in the Tissues and Blood. The ratio should 80% Alkaline to 20% Acid in the diet to maintain a healthy Body and resistance to Disease.

Alkaline Mental Effects: Fresh Air, relaxing Conversation, Laughter, Love, Exercise and Pleasure.
NEUTRAL Foods: Butter, Natural Milk, Olive Oil, Corn Oil, Cotton Seed Oil, Sesame Seed Oil, Cold Pressed Vegetable Oils and Fat.
ACID Foods - Alcohol, Asparagus Tips, Barley, Dried Beans, Beef Tea, Biscuits, Bread, Brussels Sprouts, Butter, Cakes, Candy, Cheese, Chicken, Cottage Cheese, Chickpeas, Chocolate, Citrus, Coca - Cola, Cocoa, Coconut, Corn, Corn Flour, Cornmeal, Coffee, Condiments, Crackers, Cranberries, Cream, Custards, Doughnuts, Dressings, Drugs, Dumplings, Eggs, Whites of Eggs, Fish (high) Flavourings, Flour, Gelatin, Ginger, Most Grains, Gravies, Ice Cream, Preserved Jams, Jellies, Lentils, Liver, Macaroni, Marmalades, Meat and all Flesh foods, Boiled Milk, Cooked Milk, Dried Milk, Pasteurized Milk, Canned Milk, Noodles, Oatmeal, Onions, Oysters (high), Pastries, Pies, Plums, Prunes and Juice, Nuts, especially if roasted, Rhubarb, Shellfish, Spaghetti, Tomatoes, Organ Meats, Rye - Crisp, Sauces, Soda Water, Tobacco, Veal, Vinegar and Whole Wheat.
Acid Mental Effects: Anger, Envy, Fear, Hatred, Jealousy, Overwork, Resentment, Selfishness, Lack of Sleep, Tension and Worry.
Acid Remedies: Calcium, Lemon Juice with 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar with hot water and Honey, Oranges. N.B: Although Citrus are Acidic they have a high Calcium content and produce an Alkaline effect during Digestion. Despite this to some they are (1) Acidic and to others (3) Alkaline.
NATURAL RULES: Have only 20% Acid foods in the diet, Do not eat Acid - residue foods with Starchy foods, Eat 80% Alkaline foods in the diet, Eat only natural foods raw uncooked or unprocessed, Avoid Additives, Artificial Colouring and Preservatives, Do not eat and drink at the same time, Chew the food well and take your time, Do not add Salt or Processed Condiments to the meal and use only natural Herbs, and Apple Cider Vinegar etc to add extra flavour.
